Corner Cottage

Our first new build presented unique challenges of a small lot (50'x75'). Using an elevation change and a short front-yard fence, the front porch is both comfortable and semi-public. A narrow 14' side yard presented an opportunity for a more private outdoor living room, concealed by its distance from the sidewalk, tall plantings and native honeysuckle. The home takes advantage of its southern orientation, allowing the large windows to capture abundant natural light.
