Post-war Rehab

While most of Pettaway was developed prior to WWII, two street - Bragg and Vance - were not built out until after the war. Returning vets created a great demand for new homes and these streets were developed to help meet that demand.

This 900 square home feels much larger with its vaulted living room and kitchen. A large covered front porch was added. The bedrooms and bathroom maintained their historic proportions, but the remainder of the home was rearranged to maximize storage and kitchen space, eliminate a too-small dining room, and close an unnecessary hallway.
